cottos legacy would be winning vacant abc belts at 147 and 140 and bowing down on his knees to a one dimensional bum like margarito N quitting after his daddy gave him enough. other parts of his legacy would be fighting ATG like jennings and gomez while being a ppv fighter himself and getting a gift decision against mosley we all know for sure cotto is afraid of paul williams as he never mentions him and when asked about williams cotto goes to the toilet to take a **** called BMWM3P

Possible, but he could have also stayed at 140 and made things a lot easier on himself.

Plus, I still think Pac destroying Oscar basically forced Floyd to come back which is why he setup a fight with JMM, a fighter Pac had serious trouble with and some thought he actually won. Beating JMM, especially by KO, will send a message to Pac and try to lure him into a fight. Pac already said he wanted Floyd so this fight can be made.

I've always thought the Oscar fight for Floyd was his retirement check. He came back for Hatton because that was unfinished business at 140 and he got tired of the b.s.
Plus, for all three {Oscar, Hatton, Pac}, its HUGE money.

Like I said in a prior post: Floyd can fight JMM and then Pac (if he wins) and hopefully he fights Cotto (if he continues to win) before he heads out. He only needs 1 legit WW that is at the top in my opinion to have some kind of qualified legacy at 147. Cotto is a young Champ...

And if anybody has read my posts before about "Fight-Time-Weight," you know JrWW are even with Floyd than WW who blow up 10-20 pounds by fight-time. I'll give bigger credit though for Floyd to fight one of those guys since "bigger" fighters = bigger win.
A 147+ pounder by fight-time going up against a 157-170 pounder (by fight-time) is impressive if that opponent is a top guy.

Overatted? Thats why he got matched against the nr #1 p4p-fighter, and them poeples is calling it a close fight son, Or is everybody confused.

Dont fear his retirement, and dont call it a comeback, cause manny is gonna get his ass knocked the *** out. (vs mayweather).

Retire when real threats are present and everyone is questioning your greatness. Come back when those threats have died down and then face those you now you can beat.
JMM, the guy who outboxed "The number 1 pound for pound" champ is les sof a threat that Cotto?Marg?Mosley? are you kiddin? man some people on this, Mosley would prob be a great threat to Floyd but then again he looked bad the fight before last, Cotto wont be the same now he's fought a guy who could fight back and wasnt scared of him, and Marg well be all seen how he handled the speed of Sugar Shane..... And now the number 1p4p instead of fighting JMM, the number 2 is fighting Ricky Hatton, all power to him ricky is a good fighter but last time he stepped up to first class he got knocked out by Mayweather, JMM is the best boxer who isnt retired right now, manny cant box like him and its gonna take a real thinkin boxer to beat floyd

The welterweights need him. mayweather doesnt need nobody. Boxing needs mayweather, it feeds on mayweather.
