Fight-Time weights are more important to show size. JMM moved up to JrWW by the way and there he would be fighting guys the same size if not bigger than Floyd who weighs in at 147+ by fight-time for his WW bouts. He isn't Clottey who will show up at 170; so don't worry.
If JMM fought Pac again, even at lightweight, he would be fighting a 147/WW fighter come fight-time. Remember, Pac weighed 147 for Diaz come fight-time.
Plus, in order to get to Pac (if he wins), he needs to fight JMM and out-do Pac. JMM is also rated #2 P4P.
It's better for negotiations for a fight. Without JMM, despite being "Money Mayweather," he has less to bargain on. The key for Floyd would be to knock JMM out.
