I think you're right. I came to the conclusion that Hatton is nervous, he was stuttering his words, looking moody, and his body language was leaning away from Pacquiao at the face off.
Not that it's a bad thing -- he's human. You'd expect there to be some nerves.
But Pacquiao looked calm and collected. I don't get the feeling Manny is scared of Hatton. Sure, laughing can be a sign of nervousness. It can also be a sign that you're having fun or you think something is funny. Hatton was trying to intimidate Manny and the best thing he could have done was exactly what he did -- laugh about it.

I do think Pac is handling the pressure better. A lot probably has to do with his belief in "GOD." It's as if Pac views his job is to prepare as best he can and the rest is up to "GOD." So, it relieves the pressure off of him. For Hatton, the pressure to win is all on him; he is in charge of the results.
I just wouldn't get to caught up in how Hatton acted because dehydration is a ***** on the Mind.Comment

Nervous laughter is laughter evoked from an audience's expression of embarrassment, alarm, or confusion, rather than amusement. Nervous laughter is usually less robust in expression than "a good belly laugh", and may be combined with confused glances or awkward silence on the part of others in the audience. Nervous laughter is considered analogous to a courtesy laugh, which may be rendered by more of a conscious effort in an attempt to move a situation along more quickly, especially when the comedian is pausing for laughter.
Unhealthy or "nervous" laughter comes from the throat. This nervous laughter is not true laughter, but an expression of tension and anxiety. Instead of relaxing a person, nervous laughter tightens them up even further.Comment

Last time Hatton was in Vegas against the best in the sport he got knocked out. He is worried. Pacs fought better opponents and is more relaxed despite having more fans.Comment
