Now I know why Oscar was so light for the fight against Pacquiao...

Exactly. I'm actually still waiting on a response from the OP, I mean, he did generalize everyone on this board as being ******ed because a few of us didn't agree with his "theory"...lolComment

it was for exactly what is happening. To say that as an excuse if he were to lose the fight. It all makes sense, Oscar showed himself under 147 numerous times in 24/7 and talked about his weight (how low it was) many times in interviews leading up to the fight. Even though he probably thought he could win, being the kind of person that he has become he needed a scapegoat in case he did lose.
Remember, at the weigh-ins, something odd happened. Pacquiao weighed himself before coming out (like all fighters do) but weighed 2 pounds or so less than the scale in the back. This tells me that Oscar not only came in weighing less than Manny deliberately, he also had his people manipulate the scale to accentuate his under weight condition. It worked perfectly, nearly everyone believes, that Oscar's weight played a big part in his loss. Hell, even Pac fans are tricked into believing it was all about Oscar's dehydration and no Pac's performance.
hatton has gone the opposite way and said he wants to win because he is the bigger guy not because of his boxing ability.Comment

You gotta be kidding me....
First, you told me I contradicted myself and posted like you had some kind of victory because I said "I know Roach said those things...," obviously you didn't know what I meant because you thought I contradicted myself. Roach did say those things, but it was all with flow of the moment of making fun of Oscar on how he could not manage his weight at this stage of his career with all that experience and expect to beat a top notch fighter like Pacquiao in such condition. What I mean by moment of things is that everyone was talking how ridiculous it was for Oscar to be in such condition for the fight.
And you said the weight was the sole condition only AFTER I ridiculed you. You didn't say anything about it not being the sole factor before. In fact your little "weight wasn't the sole factor" post was posted right before the one I'm quoting, and after my last post last night of which many ridiculed you for talking as if the weight WAS the sole factor. YOU FAIL.Comment

Here's one; you "theory" that DLH purposely made himself look underweight, "weight drained" to lose the fight makes absolutely no sense. Why? Because you're implying that he does it for the money. Read a little more and you'd know he pretty much owns his own boxing promotional company. Find out how much made in PPV's alone and exactly why everyone and their grandmothers know about him.
I am not saying anything in terms of could have, would have, or should have, but he came in to fight, mentally, but physically he was not there anymore. Hell even Roach noticed it when he fought Pacquiao.
Maybe you can go write those novels that lead to no where and only end up wasting your time.
Wow, for a second I really thought you wrote something meaningful there with all that bolding and quotes and the fact that all these cheerleaderes were cheering you on.
1. I didn't say DLH purposefully made himself look trained TO LOSE the fight.
YOU are telling ME to READ?!!? I said this was his SCAPEGOAT IN CASE he LOST. Of course if he was only planning to earn money and not win a fight he could have done without getting completely humiliated on TV. But he wanted an excuse IN CASE he didn't win.
2. WHERE, WHERE did I say he did it for money? One guy accused me of the same thing in this thread out of nowhere and I told him that he didn't lose in PURPOSE. FOR THE 100TH TIME, IN CASE HE LOST. And I told him if HE DID IN FACT DO IT FOR THE MONEY, WHATS WRONG WITH JUST TAKING A 20 MILLION PAYCHECK.
3. Who the *** doesn't know OSCAR "GOLDEN BOY" DE LA HOYA owns "GOLDEN BODY PROMOTIONS."? Do you have READ for that? None of you comments following this has any meaning because I DIDN'T say he LOSE IN PURPOSE.
Roach said, Roach said, Roach said..... If you had half the brain you would realize that Roach was just in a sense talking trash. When he says he saw fresh IV marks on Oscar, he doesn't literally mean that Oscar was not unable to fight. It was a way of saying you should have came no less than 100% condition to have a chance to beat us.
Try thinking with your tiny brain for once. Which statement do you think has more merit, "when I saw fresh IV marks, I knew he was finished," or "I think of it as Pacquiao having a good night rather than Oscar having bad one." Both are comments from Raoch (may not be word for word because its from memory).
You shouldn't ever write novels, because it would not make any sense...Comment
