they tried to go for speed, the reason why they trained at ~145lb for 8 weeks
Now I know why Oscar was so light for the fight against Pacquiao...

Its so perposterous loads yet you care give a explanation why. Actually, if you read my post I do have some decent basis. But you, you just ramble without any thing else. Now shut the *** up.Comment

It didn't really protect his image though if he did what your saying he did anyway. His legacy is tarnished due to the extent which he was dominated by the much smaller Pac. I doubt he thought if he was a few pounds lighter people would just give him a pass if he lost....remember he was supposed to completely destroy Pac.
Like I said, it worked to the extent that now almost everybody, even Pac fans, think Oscar's weight issue was the biggest factor in his loss.Comment

What.... the..... ***..... is this forum full of mentally ******ed people?
I said I know Roach said those things, but he also said that Pac had more to do with the win than Oscar's weight condition.
Holy ***ing ****, I can't believe how dumb this muther ***er is. And he actually thinks he got me... what the ***...Comment

I don't give a *** what they trained for. That's not the ***ing point. Again, if Oscar was already in weight (145), why did they go so low at the weigh ins? If it was THAT easy for them to make weight, they could have relaxed and even let him gain couple pounds to 150ish then cut 3 lbs on weigh in day. Instead they went overboard and came in at 143 (something like that)?Comment

Pacman prepared too hard for that fight... too bad too many fans discredit Pacquiao for that win.Comment

I am not saying anything in terms of could have, would have, or should have, but he came in to fight, mentally, but physically he was not there anymore. Hell even Roach noticed it when he fought Pacquiao.
Maybe you can go write those novels that lead to no where and only end up wasting your time.Last edited by Megalodon; 05-02-2009, 04:40 AM.Comment

Here's one; you "theory" that DLH purposely made himself look underweight, "weight drained" to lose the fight makes absolutely no sense. Why? Because you're implying that he does it for the money. Read a little more and you'd know he pretty much owns his own boxing promotional company. Find out how much made in PPV's alone and exactly why everyone and their grandmothers know about him.

Delahoya's team strategy on that fight was all wrong. Can you imagine how ****** they we're? They actually thought if they can make Delahoya weight that low they could outspeed the Pacman. Speed difference was the big factor why Manny beat the **** out of Oskee that night.Comment
