so you think the Floyd-JMM fight is unfair but you could care less when Floyd has came into the ring at WW on fight night at 146-148 while the other WW's have came in at 162-170. Thats fair, right? I cant beleive how people dont care about that at all.

      Yes its unfair.

Then why did he stay and fought at WW then?
If you're bitching about the weight of other WWs then he should go down to Jr WW, where he can rehydrate to an even weight.

FYI, its not all WWs that come around that weight.

Floyd deserves a tune up but to make it against a guy 2 divisions lower is pretty much an overrated victory if he wins.

Floyd haters are the most unreasonable boxing fans ever.

His fans claim he's STILL the best WW in the world. Prove it!! But not by fighting a guy 2 divisions lower.

How could a tune-up be an overrated victory?
Is DLH's win over Forbes(a Tune-Up coming up from 140) an overrated victory?
A tune-up isn't even supposed to be rated anything at all so why the hell would it be overrated?...

Overrated victory over a guy 2 divisions lower yes.

Oscar vs Forbes was one division and lets not forget Forbes at least had fights at 140. Has JMM??

I would give more respect to Floyd for fighting a bum at his weight or a Juan Urango type 140 fighter than JMM.

You know it as well as I do, if JMM was a natural 147 pounder, you guys wouldn't be calling it a tune up.

id say around 600k ppv buys

i sometimes talk **** about mayweather but honestly, i recognize what he's capable of doing. he has ATG skills but doesnt put them to the test against ATG oppostition. if mayweather wasnt such a self centered, egotistical ******* - i'd be rooting for him in every one of his fights. this dude has what it takes to be a bad ass mofo @ WW but instead chooses to take the easy route to victory. i fully appreciate money may for his skills but i can never consider myself a "die hard" fan due to his childish antics out of the ring.

I would watch this fight on regular HBO as long as nothing was on Showtime. Honestly I used to watch Floyd just to hope he would lose. Now that he has been away from the sport I just dont care anymore. If he loses in his return it wont mean as much to me as it would of if he had lost before. He said his body was having a harder time in training and recovering and that it was taking its toll on him. Seeing him lose now wouldnt be the same (although he wont lose to a little JMM thats for damn sure.)

Damn man, you don't even want to try to be realistic, huh. Mayweather did over 350k against the no US fan base Baldomir. And that was before the De la Hoya 24/7 and publicity, Dancing With the Stars, the Hatton 24/7 and publicity, and acting in Wrestlemania.

Mayweather could clear 450k against Spinks, against Marquez he's doing over 550k easily and if he does and Pacquiao-Hatton doesn't overlap what Mayweather Hatton did, than Pacquiao should give up at least 60/40.
