Double? IDK man, thats a big number e****ally since the fight is darn near here. Arum use to talk all the time about fighters needing to hurrry up and sign the contract because the date is getting closer and it talks a long time to sell the fight. These guys barley have enough time to go on tour

Whatever happened to Mayweather fans saying he could do over a mil by coming back and fighting "anybody"??

Lets see if Dancing with the Stars, WWE, etc helped out.

7 buys. All by Floyd fans on this board. Then they will say he is the best ever beacuse he beat a tiny guy that he was supposed to beat.

Nobody does a mil unless they are Tyson or DLH. Hatton fight did 850K, this one will do about 250K less, but if the Mexicans really get behind it, it can come close to the Hatton number.

Whatever Pacquiao can do, Mayweather could do double. Example DLH vs Pacquiao=1.2Mill
            DLH vs Mayweather=2.4Mill
You'll see Marquez vs Mayweather do around 700-800K.

              800k divided by 2 or 3 and you're right.

I don't think it has anything to do with the economy either. The economy really isn't that bad, I think that people were just afraid to spen money on things like PPV and were saving it for a rainy day....like Hopkins-Pavlik and Jones-Calzaghe which came right around that crisis. Methinks that the fight just isn't really marketable and the fact that Mayweather hasn't fought on live TV in ages.... a huge announcement/media spport would change it however.

I thought all the publicity should help him get it close though? You think he can do 750+ by himself at least? lol

Lets be fair though. The man did retire immediatly after all of that so its not like he's having this fight right on the heels of that stuff
