Cotto doesn't go around saying he's the GOAT the way Floyd has. We would expect the GOAT to face opponents his own size, and not force little guys like JMM to move up and fight at an unnatural weight.

Oh thats what you call it. If Margarito had used his arse against Mosley he would have whopped Mosley too. Too bad thats ilegal and not even his so called chin could take the punishment of a fighter moving foward, because he didn't have anything to fear. Not all fighters age the same, JLC had not lost in like 4 years prior to the first fight with Mayweather. Gave Floyd Mayweather a hell of a fight whether he won or lost, then they fought a rematch and Floyd did better but JLC had nothing to be ashamed of. From there he went on a 2 year winning streak against the likes of Casamayor(close fight), Julio Diaz, and Juan Lazcano. His winning streak was ended in the great fight with Diego Corrales, from there his career really fell off but that is 3 years after he first fought Mayweather.


Now Morales was 5-2 (including comming off a loss) leading up to the first Pacman fight but both loses were close and to Berrera but he beat some decent fighters in there too. Morales and Pacman have a hell of a fight that Morales edges. After the fight he gets badly outboxed by Zahir Raheem, and looks awful. Then Morales fights Pacman again, he puts up a good fight but over the course of the fight he gets the fight beaten out of him. Morales fights Pacman again~ gets beaten worse. Then gets beat by David Diaz after, although he put up a good effort and could have won.



Floyd fought JLC at the height of his badassness, while Pacman fought Morales at the tail end of his and by the third fight there was not much bad ass left in the Morales tank.
