Like, most I overrated Pac's abilities a bit because of the Delahoya victory. Since then I changed my mind based on these criteria's.
Technical Boxing Skills - Pacquiao lacks those to counter and outbox Ricky the way Floyd did. This will be a true pressure fighting opponent for Manny in long, long time. Can he fight backing up.
Strength - If Manny can't outbox him, that means he's gonna have to stand his ground and fight. Ricky is stronger, can Manny handle the hit and hold strategy.
Bodyshots - Manny when up against the ropes holds his hands up real high. Can he take the body shots that Ricky will blast him with? He once got knocked out by a body shot even though early in his career.
Punching power - Manny at 130/135 is known for being a big puncher. Can we truely say he carried that power over to 140? Is it as effective against a thicker framed Hatton? Hatton gets rocked by solid counter punches, not straight-in-yo-face flurries that he sees and gets ready for.
Hatton's improvement - I know it's hard to see but I believe Hatton is a bit more accurate then he used to be. Unstead of lunging in with his lead hand, he now throws the jab more.
All these criterias lead me to believe that Hatton will either Tko him late or win a decision. I know nothing is set in stone but i'm thinking Manny might even wear out and if not get tko'd make, barely make it the distance from the pressure and body attack Hatton will put on him.
I was banned for a month, nice to be back fellas.
