I dunno where all this hate is coming from, personally I'm a fan of Moorer; he has like 3 lines in an episode, how can you rant on about him, his skills, his presense, Roachs choice etc from that? it makes no sense.

Exactly, he goes on about Freddie like the guy has one foot in the grave and might not make it to fight night.

I'm not saying the guy has no brains and nothing to teach but his attitude is gonna rub 95% on fighters the wrong way and Roach is gonna get rid of Moorer as soon as people stop coming to his gym cause they're tired of dealing with an arrogant, egotistical trainer like Moorer.

Roach is just a nice guy and having a former champion Southpaw as his assistant he can help Pac with some things. Roach is honestloy just a great guy, I rewatched the Pac fight last night and I love Roach yelling at Pac " It is your job to finish this fight, you have to end it". Its obvious he cares about fighters and was sick of watching Oscar get beat on the same as everyone else. Hes just a great trainer and a great person, but hes no punk if Morrer tries to take advantage hes gone.

Although I can't yet say I agree that Moorer is a complete nutjob, I do wonder if he's just there to benefit from if not take over Roach's Wild Card credentials, I do question how much of him is real and how much fake. The way he portrays himself as this angel who swooped down to be Roach's assistant makes it seem more artificial.

If he really is just trying to take advantage of Roach's situation with Parkinson's, he will realize that he won't be too successful. The reason Roach is such a successful trainer is because he is a genuine person with integrity, and not just because of his knowledge of boxing.

I defended Moorer in an earlier post, but he isn't even close to the top 20 lightheavies ever. He was a WBO champion (when that meant almost nothing) who didn't fight even one top contender.
