So wrong. You think anyone gave a **** about that fight besides the brits? Mayweather is nothing without the star opponent in the opposite side. Also, this fight should be The World Awaits because it literally is. Such a grand title that turned out to be such a stinker. At least eyes will be on this fight, and it will be great for boxing!

Hatton-Mayweather was in your lifetime and that got a ton of buzz and broke every ppv record.

This is a good fight but it's not as mainstream as people think at least in the US.

I know the P.I. will basically stop the country to watch this fight though.

850K PPV in America, lets see if Hatton/Pac does that.

The dynamics of pbf-hatton were different. You had two undefeated fighters and it broke every record and it did good in the u.s.a as well.

This is a great fight, but don't kid yourself on the appeal to non-boxing fans.

Honestly, hatton-pbf was one of the few times besides dlh fights, i knew of non-boxing fans having parties for the fights.

I have to say I wasn't too surprised it did so well.

It's really not the fight itself, it's the event and hype surrounding it.

This is good, but by far, not even close to the best as far as that goes.

I sense alot of people on here only started watching boxing in the last year or so, Seriously this isnt the biggest fight ever not even in the last 10 years or so.

It also depends on where you're from/resides, Coming from over here Mayweather/Hatton was twice as big as Pacman/Hatton.

This isnt the biggest fight ever. Not even close. Most of the "big" DLH fights got more attention.

hatton-may was a big big fight but i think it was mainly coz of hatton's great support..this one is definitely bigger than the hatton-may fight..both have great fan bases..i have a sis who is working in dubai and she is planning to watch the pac-hatton fight with her co-workers who are not even filipinos..that's how big this fight is globally..
