I think Hattons defense is greatly improved under Mayweather sr, Floyd has his defense up to par trust me.

On a side note, has anyone thought of 2 other likely outcomes.

1 is being stopped on cuts, due to Hatton's face getting cut up in most fights.

the other being maybe a DQ, due to Hatton's frequent hugging and mauling.

Yep thats about the size of it.

He needs to keep that gap pressed because he is gonna get raked with speed and power from the lefty stance if he does not press that gap and gives Pacquiao time and space.

Hatton has not had significant issues with cuts since the Maussa fight and those cuts were caused by headbutts. He had some bad issues with cuts early in his career but he had some plastic surgery which had meant that they haven't been a problem since.

Re the "constant hugging and mauling", Hatton has not even been warned about holding apart from in the Mayweather fight.

I think he will be warned in this fight, It's to big of a fight to let Hatton take the joy away by his holding and mauling.

It won't also be easy to pin Pacquaio without recieving some combos coming in, Hatton might move his head a bit more but as the fight goes on he'll forget about it and will do the same mistake leaping in open.

I think Pacquaio has to much skills to overcome Hatton, Ricky will have his moments because of his physicalality but Pacquaio's stamina may also be a factor, could Ricky keep up with Pac's tempo.

I see Pac by either way.

I think Pac's skill is overrated. He makes up for it with ferocity but he's coming in against a live and much bigger and much more ferocious opponent, so I think his aggression will be more of a liability.

Bayless tells you to 'work out of it', Cortez never offered that option.

The fight might not go on if Hatton catches PAcquaio, Hatton is seriously powerful and if he can stop Malignaggi a proper 140 pounder with 1 shot then he can do real damage to Pacquaio who JMM dropped.
