first off yes i did and if you dont know what that is you dont know boxing. Im not putting your boy down its just a simple question. Would it be a good idea if cotto comes striaght ahead and floyd moves alot. I also never said i didnt want to see the fight. I know it would prolly become a huge fight im just seeing what people think. You have alot of people saying cotto would KO him and other people saying that floyd would put a boxing clinic on him. Ive only watched the hatton fight once by the way my man. Thats all you needed. like i said im not trying to bash floyd or cotto in this thread just simply saying what actually could happen. Rick Rude is right lol. jk man. No but you are right cotto does have an effective jab and we kinda saw floyd struggle in the first half of the DLH fight when he was using the jab.

I think people overlook heavily the subtle things Miguel Cotto does in the ring. He doesn't chase his opponents but figures them out more than anything and takes advantage of openings. I think Cotto has a much better shot than people give him simply because Floyd is an undefeated fighter. There's no reason why these 2 shouldn't fight in the very near future.
Man, I couldn't have said it better, good post, green for you!

      Enjoy..

Floyd would need a lot more than a simple right hand to beat someone like Miguel Cotto. That's like saying all Cotto needs is one body shot to beat Floyd. Both men would be in one hell of a fight, neither beats the other easily.

Why not? This fight imo shoulda happened a while back, if Mayweather comes back he miht as well fight the best, and Cotto's one of them.

Tyson "would've" killed Douglas had he never fought him.

RJJ "would've" whooped both Tarver and Johnson had he never fought him"

Enough with the "would've could've crap" Show and prove. Mythological matchups hold no weight.

thats where im trying to get at. would floyd just turn it into a boxing clinic? Not trying to put cotto down but would he just play into his gameplan which would be to get cotto to rush him and than just keep landing that right hand all night.

Same applies for Cotto..it TAKES TWO to make a fight....not just Floyd.

Floyd UD's Cotto.....Lets bet meberships on it because Im sick of you.

Dont duck me coward..Im going to get rid of you once and for all..

                Lets bet memebrships...

                I got Floyd...you got Cotto.

                Confirm or cowardice?

Exactly.....Floyd is the best fighter off the ropes in the sport..he would trap Cotto man..Cotto starts flailig away at his body and gets dropped.

Would be a good fight, but i see Mayweather winning it by just being too fast for Cotto. If Cotto can get May on the ropes a lot and pressure him all night then he might hurt him but i can see Mayweather running a lot and making sure this won't happen very often.

In the same respect, people believed Mosley would be trouble for Cotto in the sense of his speed and power, and Cotto seemed to have proved many people wrong and was timing Shane really well. In the case of Floyd, he'd obviously would be up against arguably the best technical fighter in Boxing, but it also doesn't mean Cotto won't go in and not be able to find Floyd.
