    Floyd talking about Hatton.

Notes- The Money May thing is an act...Floyd is a class act unlike Forrst..Miranda or Mayorga....

He said he was taking 2 years off...and july 18th would be 22 months since he fought....so for those saying he strategically knew Cotto would lose..Paul would move up..Shane would beat Marg...and that Pac and JMM would be 1 and 2 are idoits...Floyd said in 2007 he was leaving.

He also mentioned after Baldomir that he was retiring. It gets old after a while Bobby

I truly have no hate for any fighter. Saying he accomplished it all by beating Carlos Baldomir seems like it would come from a fan who would much rather not see him fight tougher opponents to prove his worth after reaching the top of the sport (which technically even after the Baldomir fight he wasn't yet)

Pretty amusing how one man could cloud so many childrens' judgments. It's almost like believing in Santa Claus at 26 years old

I think Floyd may want to retire and stay retired, but like all boxers, especially "gifted" fighters/athletes, it's hard to stay retired. When you do the job very well, and have done it the majority of your life, and other things can't fill the void, especially the money; it's hard to leave.

Personally, I think he shows in the ring his true feelings which is that he doesn't really want to be in there. Compare Floyd's last two fights with the version under 147. I think he lost his love, fun, and swagger a bit inside the ring.

Thats because at 147 pounds hes not the same fighter....

Hes smaller...and weaker then everyone.....at that weight.

He can still win because of his speed..defense and boxing skills.

But under 147...hes an absolute freak.

Watch the JMM fight.....Hes going to weigh about 143 fight night...and straight up destroy JMM.

Of course, it was an act, I think it shows Floyd's genius when you look around this site and see how so many people here actually bought into it and are so completely convinced by it. I never realized that he planned this long layoff though.
