I never though Floyd was a bad guy. He's just trying to sell the fight.

But under 147...hes an absolute freak.

Watch the JMM fight.....Hes going to weigh about 143 fight night...and straight up destroy JMM.
        I don't know...

Why doesn't he jab more and put combos together like he used to?
He just pot-shots a lot more.

Look at the Oscar fight: I thought he could have separated the score-cards a lot more if he would have fought Oscar the way he did Diego.

If he could barely beat that version of Oscar, it makes me wonder how he would have done with the version of Oscar that fought Mosley.
True, that fight was blown out of proportion by some since most of the shots Oscar threw landed on the gloves, but he was going to get credit for aggressiveness and just throwing in general.

He also waits to start the fight now which was seen in the Judah fight.
Could it be that he just knows Judah will self destruct as the fight goes on and then he {Floyd} can capitalize on it? Maybe...but why take the chance?
The closer the fight is the closer the chance of you being ripped off on the score cards.
Even against Hatton: He won and capitalized in the end, but he could have broken down Hatton easier if started sooner and fought behind the jab, combos, and movement.

Maybe there is no need to over-exert yourself but this is a fight and it's a hellova gamble. It cost Hopkins two times against Taylor although Hopkins gas tank was on the decline for years because of age. Is this the same with Floyd?
        Maybe his legs as well?
Maybe his hands: only so many shots in the gun because they may break?

        Not sure.

But at the same time my friend, why do you assume he could beat a Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto if he's in your opinion out of his element? Didn't he win and defend a Weltwerweight title? Or are you saying without being direct that he chose "safe" fights? Honest question.

            Floyd talking about Oscar::

That fight was at 154 pounds...of course Floyd would struggle at first.

He still won 8 rounds on my card.

Then why bother mention anything about him not being equipped for 147lbs? I think it's pretty obvious considering his next potential fight is pretty much at the Welterweight limit, isn't it?

                  The ww limit is 147...

JMM-Mayweather is less 144 pounds or less....

JMM is the only viable opton to shake of 2 years rust.........

Floyd being at 144 or less puts him inbetween....

Fighting Shane next at WW...whos the number 1 ww by the way....and between the Hatton-Pac winner at 140 pounds.
