I feel kinda sorry for floyd

Floyd just needs to fight Pac (if he beats Hatton), Cotto and Shane...or maybe do something even bigger that everybody makes him the underdog in. If he wins, he'll at least get respect and in winning, he needs to show humility.
If he came back and was "nice" and humble from the start, that would help more. But, I'm not sure he can ditch the "Money May" character because it sells tickets and it can have an effect on the opponent.Comment

floyd was torn between TRYING to be hood dude, and mainstream america.dude was to busy trying to be a thug.which he's not.he did it to himself.he could have easily been the next oscar, just like oscar was the next leonard.he CHOSE not to.Comment

He did it on purpose......
For his part, Mayweather willingly takes on the villain role—as he puts it, "In this fight, there can't be two good guys. That's bull****. So I chose to be the bad guy. **** it." (In another clip, the puckish fighter looks into the camera and says, "Mom, I'm sorry that I use bad language, I feel so bad … but I'm gonna **** him up!")
Floyd is the smartest muther****a around...the dude knows how to sell fights.Comment

So, outside of the DLH and Hatton fights,
how well did he do in terms of PPVs and money?
Why did he need to chase down DLH in the first place?
If he knows how to sell a fight, why is he telling other fighters to get thier PPVs up?Comment

He says this about every fighter after he'd faced them (maybe except Zab Judah)
It doesn't take away from Floyd's overall personality in the public. People don't buy PPVs from him saying "Well, after fights, he's a nice guy"
Is Floyd Mayweather the only fighter you follow by any chance?Comment
