Floyd just needs to fight Pac (if he beats Hatton), Cotto and Shane...or maybe do something even bigger that everybody makes him the underdog in. If he wins, he'll at least get respect and in winning, he needs to show humility.

If he came back and was "nice" and humble from the start, that would help more. But, I'm not sure he can ditch the "Money May" character because it sells tickets and it can have an effect on the opponent.

Floyd is the smartest muther****a around...the dude knows how to sell fights.
Tyson was the bad guy too, but people loved him.

lol, he knows how to sell fights so well, he needed the help of an aged superstar (Gatti) of the sport to help him get off his feet. Then, he goes to the face of the sport begging to be put onto superstar status.

So, outside of the DLH and Hatton fights,

how well did he do in terms of PPVs and money?

Why did he need to chase down DLH in the first place?

If he knows how to sell a fight, why is he telling other fighters to get thier PPVs up?

He says this about every fighter after he'd faced them (maybe except Zab Judah)

It doesn't take away from Floyd's overall personality in the public. People don't buy PPVs from him saying "Well, after fights, he's a nice guy"

Is Floyd Mayweather the only fighter you follow by any chance?
