If either man loses it's not such a bad thing.

Pacquiao: This is his very first fight at 140 and he's going up against the long-reigning ruler of the division. Although he's the P4P #1, he probably shouldn't be such a big favorite. This fight is not easy for Manny, as far as I'm concerned. He will have to work very hard to win. If he loses, it's likely to be because he stepped up in weight just a notch too far rather than the sheer talent of his opponent. Whatever happens, you can't knock Pacquiao for trying to be greatest he can be, pushing himself, and not being afraid to take risks.

Hatton: It might just be that he will always fail against the absolute cream of the crop such as Mayweather and Pacquiao. A loss to another P4P king doesn't mean his career is over. His fans will still be there for him and he can carry on drawing huge crowds in Manchester. I'd think a loss to Pacquiao would mean Ricky fights one more time on home turf and goes out with a win. If he beats Pacquiao, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Pacquaio is untested at 140, but it's up to him to prove that his talent can transcend weight classes. Will he do it? Who knows. This is an exciting fight where any possible outcome wouldn't surprise me, but I am sticking with my original prediction of Pacquiao to win in the later rounds.

Ricky's already a major underdog in this match so if he loses people will forgive him. He is still a great fighter and Im sure he'll find one last big name like JMM orjunior witter to face before his career is done.

Floyd Sr's credibility as a trainer will take a small hit, but at the end of the day his son is still the greatest defensive fighter of the 21st century and one of the best ever. I think he will be fine.

      If Pac loses:

Paquiao has nothing to worry about if he loses this thing. His country will stick with him to the very end and he can always step back down to 135 and ABSOLUTELY dominate that division. Pacman has a bright future regardless of what happens on Saturday.

Freddie Roach is the one I think will be devastated most from a loss. Hes constantly saying he has the better fighter, that he is the better trainer and the media tends to agree with him. With that in mind, if Paquiao loses, it will all be on his shoulders. Of course, Floyd Sr will pile on like a rabid 3rd grader and make things even worse. If Im Roach Im moving to Siberia if pacquiao loses.

      What do you guys think?
      sorta...

if hatton loses, it will be devastating because he's so confident in himself. I'm not sure hatton will get a rematch cause there's too many good fights out there for pac.

for floyd, he's repuation takes a small hit, but you can always blame it on the fact that he's only had hatton for 2 fights.

if pac loses, it will be ok because he has the love of his family and country... hatton will definitely give pac a rematch. plus pac is a religious guy and he can chalk the loss to God not wanting him to win.

for roach, he doesn't lose that much either. pac is still a great fighter and his best work to date and roach is still a HOF trainer. roach will still get work and still be regarded as a great trainer.

All Hatton wants is to be the best, losing to Mayweather and Pacquaio will assure him that he isn't. What else is there to prove. He's done, not as being a star, but done as being the very best. He always says he fights the best to be the best, and if can not what else(other than money which he has plenty of) is there for him to accomplish? Unify the belts? I don't think so. Junior Witter had his chance until Bradley ****ed it up.
