Is Shane Mosley's Career a little disappointing?

It seems like he rematched everyone which isnt that much of a bad thing

-his best win is de la hoya and many believe de la hoya won the rematch
    -lost 2 times to winky
-lost 2 times to vernon forrest
-however he was a great lightweight
-his best wins are probably plasterito.de la hoya.and a mayorga which never was good
-he beat a out of prime vargas 2 times which isnt much

eh hes got balls though, he took the hard fights. When you fight the best you will loose. DLH didnt fight Winky for a reason, that was a big risk and he lost but atleast he tried.

I just read the recent Mosley interview and his most wanted fights in order are:
    1. Hatton-Pac winner
    2. PBF
    3. Cotto

Now that is just awesome, that is exactly what the fans want and I have to respect that, he is looking for the best fights. Im somewhat neutral with Shane, he isnt one of my favorite fighters neither do I hate him. He looses some credibility for the balco ordeal but I do respect that he is looking for challenges and will fight anyone.

I mean look at the Margo fight, Margo just whopped Cotto's ass and was the badest man on the planet but Shane made that fight and this time he was victorious. Shane didnt have to fight him, he could have fought some stiff and still made money but he wanted the challenge.

He did lose the biggest fight of his life.

        Against Jin Mosley

She's tougher than any dude on his resume.

Hmm...maybe if you look at how he was being talked about in around 2000-2001. I remember Eddie Futch saying Mosley does things he hadn't seen such Ray Robinson. Others were expecting better things out of him in the future. He gave Forrest his chance at a big fight (though HBO's frustration with his 2001 probably played a part in that), and Winky his big fight as well. Those choices in opposition earned his respect in terms of his willingness of whom to fight, but not his in-ring abilities.

He was dominant at lightweight, but his opposition should also be taken into consideration. It wasn't strong and it's not like he beat the other best lightweights (Johnston) either.

The win over Margarito at such at advanced age, and the dominating nature of it, helped his stature and standing quite a bit.

Not at all. He's proven himself as a gr8 fighter. He lost to 3 A class fighters who it ain't embarrassin to lose to. 2 of those guys were cats nobody else wanted to fight, and he went back in for more after they dogged him. And the Cotto fight was not the humblin defeat Cotto's buttboys make it out to be either. coulda been a draw or 7-5 either way imo. I feel bad for the guy cuz his ***** wife is breakin his bank.

Mosley is a better fighter that De La Hoya, and he fought everyone regardless of money. Last time we saw Mosley he was demolishing the toughest baddest number 1 WW in the world, and fishnets was getting pounded into submission by a featherweight. You do the math.
