Would Mayweather be a draw if he didnt hype himself up?

Lets be honest. He draws people because he talks a great game. He hypes himself up to be something very good. He also talks about how much better he is than his opponents. If he did not have such a big mouth would he be in such high demand? People watch Mayweather to see him get knocked out because of his attitude.

He didn't hype him self up.

Who else would do 400k PPV's vs Baldomir?
    not a self-hyped fighter.

isn't being able to hype YOURSELF part of the game?

if you don't believe in yourself, who else is gonna? the thing about mayweather is that he has the skills to back up what he says, and that's what matters to me.

Yeah, probably not as big of a draw, though. Mosley was incredibly talented and seen as the best in the world, but he was seen as being a boring person, and he was never a draw.

Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, Hatton, etc never talk like he did about himself

Its his personality that makes him a fail in terms of ticket sales.

For instance, Oscar Dela Hoya wasn't the best boxer but he was the "model citizen" the boy who was nice, respected his parents, loved the fans, and helped the peope in need. So they supported him... ALOT.

Floyd is an *******, talks too much ****(even though he backs it up), disrespected his father to the media, doesn't care about the fans, doesn help the people in need, instead he flaunts his ***els and money and acts like a typical rapper. Which is why he doesn't put asses in seats to the equivalent of Pacquiao, DLH etc. etc.

well the haters would say he's boring.....ME, as a fan, would agree he doesn't have "the most exciting" style......he backs up the **** talk, and WINS fights....i think that's what matters.
