But I suppose if you put up any poll with Pac in it at the moment most people would pick him to KO anyone.
He was definately hurt against Barrera, not to the point of getting KO'd but he was taking a steady beating and was definatly hurt

Pacquiao would most likely stop him, Naz was a good fighter no doubt. But his big winging punches left openings that guys like Barrera/Kelley/Sanchez etc to exploit where Pacquiao could shot his straight left etc.

Naz would be live early on, but I can't see him getting it done if Cotto/Hatton/Barrera etc couldn't do it. I can't see him outworking Pacquiao and the KO is unlikely because Pacquiaos defense has improved so much and he comes in from odd angles. The most likely scenario IMO is Pacquiao by stoppage as I think Pacquiao is a bigger hitter than anyone else Naz would have faced as well as much faster.

Manny could knock out Hamed with left-hand tied behind his ass.

Hard one to pick prime for prime .Pac's getting better so you don't know what he'd be like if he stayed at 126 . I pick Pacquiao .It was only 5 fights and 2 yrs after the Nazeem Barrera fight Barrera got tko'd off Pacquiao. That was his first loss since the Hamed fight .Interesting fight tho 2 southpaws.

12 pages to discuss this ????

            wtf is there to discuss?

Hamed was getting put down but featherweights, he was exposed by quality opposition. Easy to hit, lunging in with big punches.

People will say his prime was before he started getting knocked down, but it was also before he fought decent fighters.

Pac has proven to be too tough, too strong and too powerful for Hamed.

Hamed was hurt several times, but his head would clear very quickly. He did have a good chin, but he never faced anyone with the speed and power of Pac.

He was hurt by briefly by Alicea, Medina, Kelly, Sanchez, Johnson and Barrera IMO.

Hamed was way to open to not get hit by Pac, and it seems Pac can take big shots from a big punching welter weight.

@ 126lbs, I agree, Nas would win. I hate to say by KO but it's highly possible. Manny was stunned quite afew times below 130lbs days. Nas power was scary. Barrera even mentioned in a late interview when asked what was the hardest punch he ever got hit with, he said a punch that Hamed threw slipped off his shoulder and went into his chin and it rocked him but he kept his composure. Let's also not forget, Manny was no where near the level back then that he is now. He was 75% brawler still and he would no doubt trade with Hamed and that would be his downfall. No fighter survived trading punch for punch with Hamed.

I don't think so. Not as bad as people make it out to be. He had a mouse under his eye and that's about it. Even as soon as the bell rang to end the 12th, he didn't look like a beaten up fighter, he just looked extremely disappointed because he knew he lost the fight. There was no blood drawn, no KDs, it was a nice display of boxing from Barrera that won it.
