    Do you think it will do him much good though, Roach disagree's with the technique and the video makes it look like he's being tenderized.

        I dont think its actually the same thing, being hit with the medicine ball is more absorping blunt force of the ball (like a punch).
        Whereas with the stick, because of the smaller surface area and harder texture, i'm sure you'd feel more "pain".
        It could be a good idea doing both. But obviously Pac can do it like that because he's a pro and has been training a long time.
        Dempsey mentions the medicine ball trick in a book of his, and he recommends not using this technique if your new to the sport as you could damage your organs/internal tissues.
