He might be able to make 140 now, but it doesn't matter since any future fights will probably be at 147 or a catchweight a couple lbs. below 147.

Yeah I agree, about 2-5 years ago Floyd consistently proved he wasn't a 147 lber... of course we haven't seen him in 2 years and fighters grown into higher weight classes with age.

It shows that he walked into the ring at 145 at 140, and 146 at 147

Perhaps a better sign would be what he last fought at against Hatton, right after coming down from Super Middleweight.

I think Floyd can definatly make 140 and even lower but he's worried that it will hurt him in the furture when he does fight the WW's. This proves my point about how peope shouldnt call Floyd a ***** for not fighting Cotto. Dude is 146 against Zab and the other WW's are 162-170 but he's a punk if he doesnt fight them? He has to fight them to be great? He's so much bigger then JMM? Come on now. He was 146 against Zab & Baldy. He looked like a flat board in the ring. He's 147 against them and Pac is 147 when he was fighting at 130 but yet they try to play Floyd like he's this super big monster picking on the little guys. I mean everyone now says that Zab doesnt belong anywhere near WW but yet Floyd should fight all the biggest guys and then some? Those weights are 2 years apart and he's still the same thing. Youre going to tell me that he's a real WW or that he had to go to WW? He didnt. He didnt even have to go to 140. He's super small. You can even see that in the At&t commercial. I still say that he's not only the best P4P but he's the smallest guy in boxing P4P

You're right, I think he even stayed at 147 against hatton, or only went up a lb or so. I remember Hatton outweighing him a good deal, but didn't he rehydrate a bit in the smaller weight classes?

Go on, find me a screenshot of the tale of the tape for that fight.

Thats my point. He walked into the ring the same weight when he was fighting at 140 as he did when he was fighting at 147, so to say he can't drop back down to 140 is absolutely ridiculous.
