    Someone please clear this up
Well he pleaded guilty (or no-contest) to spousal abuse and did a year in prison for it. It wasn't the first time he'd been charged with domestic abuse. He had some weapons in the house, but I think those charges got dropped. The story I've heard of what happened is that someone prank called his house and said he boned his wife or something. Chico, being the paranoid drunk he was, beat her for it.

But in terms of "paying tribute to a woman beater", well, to be honest boxing is full of woman beaters. Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson (his wife had 4 or 5 miscarriages and his son blames it on how bad Ray beat her up), Jake LaMotta (he also admitted to **** in his autobiography), Mike Tyson, Arturo Gatti, Carlos Monzon (and he murdered her), etc....

      Nice!

One of the toughest mofos ever and one of my all time favourite.

They broke the mold when he died. JMM comes close and so does Izzy Vasquez.

I hope this will keep his memory alive.

...So I'm thinking I want to pay tribute to him with a high quality video tribute.

As usual, I'm struggling with song selection.

I want it to capture the intensity of emotion I plan to capture in the video.

The first song that came to mind was "Hurt". I'm not sure which version I would use, Johnny Cash's is more "accesible" to a wide range of people, but the original version by Nine Inch Nails has so much more emotion and intensity in the performance.

I'm also open to other suggestions.

Help me out, help make it happen.
Use instrumentals underneath actual fight commentary.

That is what I was thinking when I watching all the video suggestions. All them songs are just not right for the tribute.

Get yourself the scores from Acid Loops and Video Copilot two different companies (Avialable on *******) These are huge sounds files of all kinds a long with instrumentals of all kinds and you can use them anytime and you wont get messed with by YouTube for copyright. But please no Rocky Balboa songs. I hate those with a passion although I am guilty of using a Rocky song in a pavlik video, I will never do it again :lmfao:
