...So I'm thinking I want to pay tribute to him with a high quality video tribute.

As usual, I'm struggling with song selection.

I want it to capture the intensity of emotion I plan to capture in the video.

The first song that came to mind was "Hurt". I'm not sure which version I would use, Johnny Cash's is more "accesible" to a wide range of people, but the original version by Nine Inch Nails has so much more emotion and intensity in the performance.

I'm also open to other suggestions.

Help me out, help make it happen.
Good luck man, every Corrales HL I've seen was whack!

I liked the tribute that used that one song from "Rocky 4", but that was it.

I'm still leaning towards the NIN version of "Hurt", because it's so emotional and truly a sad song. But the subject matter is about drug addiction, and that doesn't really fit. Though certain hooks from the song would still fit a video of Chico quite well, IMO.

I'll throw it together, see see how it goes.

If not, I'll try some of the songs that have been suggested in here, and see how that goes.

If nothing fits, I won't upload it. I don't want to ipload a half assed video, just to have another one up.

It either gets done right (see ; My other 3 videos), or it doesn't get done at all.

              Method Man- Bring the Pain

Corrales had that "Pain is Love" tattoo and seemed to have a very high pain threshold.

You'll probably need all real speed highlights, no slow-mo.

I dont mean to sound like an *******. But is it true he severely beat his pregnant wife or was that blown way out of proportion? I am just asking because people always are remembering what he accomplished in the ring and what not and based on what I have read, we are paying tribute to a guy who nearly beat his wife to death?

                  Someone please clear this up

Here in America USA you dont have to beat your wife senseless in order to get busted for domestic violence. I am not sure how bad he beat her but all a woman has to do is accuse you of beating her and you are off to jail. I think Chico had a drinking problem and or liked to drink to unwind, I think Alcohol plays a major role in any doctor jeckly and mister hyde.

a song that kind of reminds me of Diego Corrales is 18 and life by Skid Row.. but that song is about a guy named ricky who kills a dude..

The lines " he had a heart of stone.
Lived 9 to 5 and worked his fingers to the bone.
Just barely got out of school, came from the edge of town.
Fought like a switchblade so no one could take him down.
He had no money, oooh no good at home.
He walked the streets a soldier and he fought the world alone"

                      &

"Tequila in his heartbeat, his veins burned gasoline.
It kept his motor running but it never kept him clean.
They say he loved adventure, rickys the wild one."

describe Corrales a bit.. anyone know any songs about an adrenaline junky?
