Jack Loew is cool. He started to talk **** after Manny Steward said that Kelly couldnt go far because he had an amateur boxing trainer. I woulda taken offense too.
Why is Pavlik hated on so much?

Loew is way too mouthy.
And Steward was right...
What was Loew's advice when Hopkins was kicking Pavlik to the curb?
Double jab Kelly, double jab!
12 rounds, and that's all he could come up with. Terrific. He should go bury his head in the sand somewhere and never be heard from again.Comment

Pavlik has Miguel Diaz in his corner. That alone quashes anything Jack Lowe does wrong. It just was not in the cards for Kelly that night. So many things were working against him.
1: Bernard fought perfectly
2: Pavlik had or was coming off Bronchitis
3: 10 Pounds heavier than he was used to fighting.
4: Jack Lowe "Punch him in the nuts"
Any of the top three reasons alone and Pavlik was destined to lose. Have all of them working against you and you end up embarrassed. He got embarrassed. He had a terrible night, but you cannot use that one fight to guage his abilities accurately.
i agree that his team is holding him back from improving!Comment

you are pretty dumb dude. this is the pavlik hate i talk about. look at the records of the last 5 fighters he's had, and take into consideration Lockett was a mandatory and Rubio had won his last 9 fights and was considered a tough test for pavlik coming off the Hopkins fight. And I wouldnt consider Zertuche-Miranda-Taylor I and II- Lockett-Hopkins- Rubio- Mora( Recently the JMW champ and natural 160 fighter) a steady diet of Bums. Plus its a tune up before he fights Abraham. what bums these guys are. I mean who is he to call himself good when hes fighting soft guys like JMW champs, the guy who beat Hop twice, Hop himself and Miranda who was the most feared MW puncher at the time he fought Pavlik. Plus a guy in Rubio who is tough as nails against everyone he's faced, except for Pavlik cuz he is the rare puncher who can make Rubio go from a tough guy to a man trying to survive 12 rounds, which he couldn't even handle when Pavlik broke his body and head down like a surgeon.Comment

How is he over hyped? And why is it cuz he's white? He has never had a fight at 160 where he looked anything other than exceptional, why wouldn't people give the guy all the hype he deserves? He's got one of the most phenomenal KO rates in the game. the only times he hasn't KO'd a guy were early in his career in shorter fights or fighting at weights above 160 against guys who were MW champs who had never been KO'd in their life by anyone(Taylor II and Hopkins) How is it possible to overhype those stats in any way?Comment
