There will be no choice but to give him credit, everyone who said Hatton wont win will have to give him credit,or just be seen as not knowing much about the sport!!I dont think Pacman beats Hatton anyway, there are some Americans, that are boxing fans minus the bias!!!

nah, i cant see people using the size excuse. the size difference is not that big. Manny will weigh around 148 on fight night..hatton around 150. There's an inch difference in height and Manny has the reach advantage. If Manny loses, its because he lost to the better man...not because of a couple of pounds.

I hope the American media gives credit if Hatton beats Manny. I think we as US fans do not catch on to the greats from overseas especially if the majority of their careers have been fought there until it's too late. I think a lot of us missed a chance to follow Calzaghe closer and to be honest appreciate his career more.

hopefully that doesn't happen with Hatton because he has been good for the sport inspite of whether you dig his style or not. He has always been an everyday sort and has always brought humor and a bit of humility to what he does
I agree. It's biased media outlets that hurt the global boxing scene. Every fighter should be treated with the contempt or prestige regardless of where they are from. It bothers me as my favorite fighters are from across the globe and vary from race to race. The pundits give us a bad name.

He should get a lot of credit based on Pacquiao's talent. You still have to take it into perspective though because of his resume above 130. Hatton winning still doesn't put him in the top 5.

We still don't know how good Manny is at the higher weights - if it was a case of Oscar truly being shot or Manny being that good.

Michael Rosenthal and Eric Raskin are very negative and biased against European boxers.

People should be consistent, if weight is a huge factor to a person when it comes to other fighters victories then they should be the same with this fight.

It would be Hatton's best win I think.

I will give him credit, after all Pac is P4P No. 1. Though it depends how he wins as to how much credit he gets.

                    yeah

Dec 6th was supposed to answer a lot of questions about Manny but in the end it posed more

was it Manny or Oscar or both?
                    does Manny belong at 140?
                    is Manny's power carrying up?

heck the same could be said about the David Diaz fight

They should be fired for being imparcial.
