As a "reporter" or "commentator", you are never supposed to do anything that influences the game. What if Bruseles punched Floyd in the cerebelum while Lampley is engaging him in convo? How disrespectful was that to the Puerto Rican fighter?

Think about it: you can't even whisper during Phil Mickelson's backswing, but he's asking Floyd to handicap the superBowl while someone is trying to knock PBF out.

That wasn't the impressive part. The impressive part was earlier when Lampley wasn't even speaking to him. Jim said " Floyd turns southpaw for the second time tonite." Floyd corrects him and says "Third".

Jeez.

That tells you what kind of mental zone he is in during the fight.

Also, listen for what he tells his corner during the round break: He's protecting his body. Bruseles had been training with Cotto. The gameplan was to go to HB's body. Later in the fight, FMJ ends him on bodyshots.

That was in the Goyo Vargas fight, and it was obviously much funnier.

That cracked me up when he correct Lampley.
