look if i was promoting I would do da executioner(hopkins) vs the punisher(Williams) and the rematch i would do will be winky vs taylor cause they both just got raw dawged. Cotto rematch with Mosley and Victor Ortiz should of got the title shot against Berto. Man i would be the best promoter ever

I caught the end of a bhop interview on a local radio station to my surprise (they never talk boxing here) and he said a few interesting things.

The most interesting thing he said is that he hasn't been in a boxing ring since he fought Pavlik. He said normally after fights, he's immediately back in the ring, sparring, etc., but something is different this time. he said he's still in great shape and working out at gyms because that's part of his lifestyle but he hasn't stepped in the ring and that's first time he's ever done that for so long.

He said most likely he'll be the next one to retire after Oscar.

It really sounds like he will retire.

But he also didn't rule the possibility of another fight out, but he said it would have to happen now and that he wont wait much longer.

He said more than anything he wanted a fight with calzaghe, but he's fine with the fact calzaghe is retired. He says that since it was a split decision and since there is still debate as to who won he's cool with it so he isn't bitter about it and he's accepted the fact he wont get a rematch.

          Hopkins should fight Froch.

Thats an easy win and a third division title.
That's precisely what I was thinking after watching Froch K.O. Taylor. Froch abandons his guard, and leaves himself WIDE open for counters after he unleashes his offense. He doesn't recoil to any kind of defense afterward. Yes, Froch is tailor made for B-Hop, but beating another fighter who's put an L on Taylor's record would be complete redemption for the Philly fighter.

I just read that GBP have reached out to Froch's team for a potential Hopkins-Froch fight.
