He did outweigh Marquez by 4lbs. He came in a whopping 145lbs in the 130lb division.

Pacquiao grew in size slowly and steadily through the years in each and every fight. He is genetically gifted. As long as he eats and trains he will gain muscle. Early on in his career he was still very poor and was malnutritioned until he came to America and got big fights. It's no surprise that someone with his genetics gains size as they strength train. And the fact that after growing in size, he doesn't want to fight in lower weight classes anymore.

hatton is the naturally bigger man at 140 over pac.

****** ***ing ignorant comment. Pacquiao was malnutrioned for the most of his career until he came to America. So just because he couldn't eat right he is naturally smaller? Then if we somehow starve Hatton and he becomes a 110 lb skeleton, is he now naturally smaller?

Size has to do with frame. Its about how much lean mass one can put on at a certain weight. And as you can see from the pics, Hatton and Pac have pretty similar sized frames.

      .........

      naturallly bigger guy.....

      wtf...

size is about FRAME. there's a reason why some fighters can go up so much weight classes.

Holyfield, Toney, Moorer all had the frame to put on the mass. Their bones were big enought that they could still put on mass and compete at higher weight classes.

Witht that "naturally bigger" dumb logic, then how is it that Moorer who fought at 175 lbs and Toney who fought even lighter ones, were able to fight guys who were "naturally bigger" then them? Did they get bigger "naturally"?

thanks for proving my point.......moorer is a natural light heavyweight....he gained mass to go up to heavyweight....hes NATURAL(frame) build is that of a light heavyweight......that means the heavyweight guys he fought were NATURALLY bigger.....you said the exact samethin i said in my previous post kid...

roach said that pac was dehydrated a bit in the 2nd marquez fight, and made 135 pretty well.....pac at this stage of his carear is a natural lightweight......hatton this has always been his weight at 140....its whats natural to his body and frame....not pac....use logic

hatton is the bigger guy....anybody that doesnt understand what being "bigger: means in boxing clearly doesnt follow the sport.

beef up? He was a welterweight fighting at 130 way before the Oscar fight. The whole "Pac moving up in weight" is a myth. He simply doesn't have to force himself to make weight as much, his natural size has been a light welterweight for a VERY long time.

            Pac at 130 = 145

            Pac at 147 = 148

He has been a medium size man fighting little men for a long time.

lol the only time PAC started to outweight his opponent at fight night was at PAC-EM 3 ...

not to mention that his opponent is about within 2 pounds of his weight...

                  Morales was shot after Raheem.

He outweighed Marquez by 4lbs, the only elite fighter he faced since Barrera 1.

Pac first weighed above 140 lbs on fight night (unofficial weigh in) in the 3RD MORALES FIGHT. He weighed 144 lbs that night. That is probably the point where Freddie and the team realized Pac is too big to make those weight classes anymore. NOT a VERY LONG TIME.
