Saturday cannot come fast enough. This is a fight that cannot possibly fail in terms of delivering a superfight with all action. I respect Pacquiao and Hatton for the exceptional fighters they are, and although I am pulling for Hatton I anticipate a bout that lives up to and exceeds the prefight hype. This is going to be a brutal fight.

As I said before, they could have negotiated an international (non-British) ref and judges and then that wouldn't have been an issue.

And I think you're exagerating in any case, there have been plenty of suspect refs and or judges in the US, and the UK isn't like Germany with Ottke.

But the key thing is that all title fights involving fighters of different nationalities should have international refs and judges. I don't understand why that isn't compulsory for all title fights. But Pac could have agreed to fight in the UK on that basis.
