I believe Miguel Cotto will be the smarter of the two and won't stay too long in the pocket for Clottey to take advantage of his counter punching style, but Cotto as well is a great counter puncher in his own right. The key for Cotto is to stay active. Select your shots and be patient. If Cotto can go to the body while Clottey clinches he has a chance to hurt Clottey who's never been hit with solid body punches like the style of Cotto's. For Clottey, he has to put a great deal of pressure on Cotto and try to trap him and throw at a very high rate to disrupt Cotto's rhythm. Clottey doesn't have one punch KO power, but through the course of a fight it may wear down Cotto if he lets himself get hit.

But I believe Cotto will put on a great performance and take a UD victory. Should be a great fight.

I gurantee you that Clottey doesnt goo pass 4 if he tries to do a Margarito.

He needs to keep his guard high, be economical and counter punch.

Anyways Cotto got this UD!!!!!!!!!!!!The bold is just for you Chicano79

Nobody used plaster on Cotto f@ggot.

Jotto's camp WATCHED Tony's hands get wrapped...as did NEVADA officials...they didn't see NOTHING wrong.

In all fairness Mr Vous, The CSAC also passed on Margarito's gloves the 1st time they checked them until Mr Nazeem asked for a 2nd represenative who then confirmed the pads were a bit too hard. You may blame Cotto's camp for not thoroughly checking the wraps for the sake of their fighter's health, but at the same time that should be the last thing a team should be worrying about being their opponent is playing it straight. It doesn't excuse wrong doing in the case that there was wrong doing in the Cotto fight.

The only thing I really fear for Cotto is his tendency to leave himself open to uppercuts. I think Cotto has more tools in the bag per se and is overall a better fighter, but he just leaves his head very vulnerable. When he goes for the overhand right is when he's most suspectible. If he can keep that minimized, I really see no outcome other than a UD for Cotto.

But Clottey is a professional and will be ready to roll. I just think Cotto takes his game up another notch.

Clottey isn't a cheater and doesn't have something special than can worry my Miguel. Cotto takes this by wide UD. Anything Clottey does, Cotto can do it better.
Believe me, the real, motivated Miguel Cotto( unless you cheat against him) is a top 3 P4P, and can be an all time great fighter.

Other than being a cheater, Margarito was way bigger than Cotto and imposed a physical pressure that Clottey can't do.

Clottey has better defence than Margarito but Margarito threw way more punches.

The more i think about this fight the more i am excited for it. I can envision either fighter winning.
