    I agree, even though lopez seems to have the ability to be a great fighter.

      Another example would be Erik Morales, who had so many wars already and was just at his early 30's.

        age isnt always a factor in being past it or shot, like champboxpr said, fighters can be shot as early as 25 depending on how hard their fights have been etc

          There has been a LOT of fighters (many mexicans) who were retired/shot/way past it by age 30. The tradition of turning pro at 16 and the fighting style don't help. Izzy has been in plenty of wars. So yes, if he is shot he is shot, it's not making excuses.

            Sometimes it doesn't matter how long a fighters rests, those fights were brutal, the type of fights where both fighters may never be the same again no matter how long they have been off.
