Israel Vazquez on Returning, Fighting Juanma, Luevano

HOw teh **** is Juanma? he is the one sell out arenas and headlining HBO cards in his 25th fight. WTF was Vazquez doing before fighting Marquez?

DOnt get me qoing at 122, Vazquez calls the shots because he is the lineal champ at 126 not so much!!!!!!!

just because juanma is being groomed by hbo to be the next superstar doesn't mean he gets to call the shots at 126...

juanma's got good promotion behind him, but vasquez has the p4p top 10 status that juanma wants.

I think vasquez has more negotiation power at 126 than you think.

Believe I saw a inteview of him this morning and he petty much said that he will end up fighting Caballero on september, and that he will tune up in early july against Escalante.

Seems like the sensible thing to do, Marquez will be fighting for the WBC title sometime around then, so he is busy. The Ring has Caballero ranked at #2, once Vazquez vacates it, Marquez (#1) and Caballero will be the top contenders, while Lopez would still be at #3. That means that if Lopez wants to get the lineal championship in a fight against Marquez, he will need to get over him. I can't see what's the problem with the draw, since Top Rank will certainly get him the bigger slice and he will win more than in his fights vs. Figueroa and PDL.

We all know that Vasquez as well as Marquez won't fight Juanma, at least not know. The Mexican press is all ready at work trying to pressure these two mexican fighters to make another Puertorrican-Mexican rivalry and still they talk around a future fight. Juanma will be the main attraction in 126 lb..
