Mayweather and Marquez are two fighters who counter punch alot. This looks to be a very cautious fight with each fighter waiting for the other to throw. Marquez gets my vote though.

i think floyd will try to get him in the begining becaz marquez starts slow, and marquez is mexican, lol, i highly doubt a mexican worrior like him will just counterpunch for 12 rounds lol

People are sleeping on JMM. This saddens me.

I'm not sleeping on him. I'm hoping that he wins.

But the deck is clearly stacked against him, being almost 36, with 55 fights under his belt, 2 back to back wars with Casamayor and Diaz, and fighting at a weight he is untested at. Even at 135 Marquez is a small man, at 140 he's even smaller. And anything above 140 is really stretching it.

That said, I'll still root my damn lungs out for him on fight night, and I hope Floyd doesn't take him seriously, really thinks he's a "tune up", gets weight drained, or whatever else that may effect his performance that night.

I don't like the way the deck is stacked though.

JMM is a great fighter but he is pretty open defensively, diaz caught him plenty of times and wobbled him also. Floyd is a faster, more powerful and more accurate puncher than diaz
