Andrade would KO froch, but I know styles make fights... Why do people keep ducking Andrade?

I was unaware Froch was ducking Andrade.. I have never heard their names mentioned together until you.. I am positive if a fight with Andrade makes sense Froch would take it.. He truly seems to fear no one..

As for ducking Andrade... Didn't he pull a "Froch" off against Bute and get robbed???

Guys who can take a beating and keep coming and can KO you late in a fight are usually not high on people's fight list.. Froch has been quite avoided himself over the years..

He beat Mundine in Sydney Australia for the WBA strap and fought in Germany last fight...what you talkin bout Willis??!!
Man Froch has some nuthuggers already geez!...I give the guy props though...im sure Kessler would take him out even though I had my doubts Kessler would beat Taylor should that fight have ever happened...guess Froch put that to thought to bed.
I hope Taylor carries on...he should go to Nasim Richardson for some conditioning coaching and he would be near unstoppable.

Exactly. Calzaghe could have very easily lost the Hopkins and Reed fights.

Reid admitted after the fight that he lost, this despite the fact that Calzaghe fought most of the fight one-handed due to a badly injured hand. And Froch isn't even close to being in Hopkins' class.

Tszyu wasn't retired at the time. Nor was he in a higher weight class.

I doubt Pavlik's team will be looking to make another fight at SMW unless the dice are loaded in his favour. He's not a natural at that weight whereas Froch is right at the top end of it.

Not a good match-up for Kelly.

There's a really excellent analysis of the Froch-Taylor fight by Mugwump here, and in the follow-up posts. Best analysis I've seen.

IMO, a lot of posters didn't see the subtleties that were going on. Froch deserves major props for his win. He's very limited compared to a Kessler or a Hopkins, but he would have a very good chance of beating Bute.

Calzaghe said before the fight that if Froch stopped stalking him, he'd be a lot more complimentary about Froch, and that he gave him respect for taking the fight in Taylor's backyard. Then Froch insisted on calling him out and badmouthing him after the fight - in response to a question about whether he'd like to fight Kessler, which he completely ignored - so you can't blame Calzaghe for being annoyed and ungenerous in his analysis of the fight, especially as Froch calling him out made the headlines of all the UK newspapers and forced Calzaghe to respond.

But IMO, Froch though deservedly well behind on points, still thoroughly deserved his win.

Joe and His Dad should just disappear. The one thing Froch did that Joe can never do is give us a Good Fight with a KO against a quality opponent. I keep hearing the Calzaghes mention that Froch cannot fight against the Guys like Hopkins JOnes Jr and Kessler. First off only the Calzaghes are claiming that Kessler was good (like when the look at the Lacy fight and think that means something) and Jones Jrs only meaningful victory in 4 years is against Trinidad who came up from welterweight. Joe will never have the respect in America he thinks he deserves but if Froch keeps Doing what he is doing he should pass Joe as the Best Fighter from Across the Pond.
