    I don't either.

He needs to fight realy Welters or piss off to 140, where he probably belongs.

No more of this catchweight bull****, and having guys move up to 147 to fight him, when he's supposedly not even a 147lbs fighter himself.

He's in a phantom weightclass, apparently.

It's not the first thing you haven't got.

I love how the potential signing of a Floyd-Marquez fight is getting 100x more talk than the Pac-Hatton fight that's going to happen in 1 1/2 weeks.

There is no big, average, and small.

They're all Welterweights because they all fight (or fought) at 147lbs.

Height doesn't mean ****, especially when none of the tall men you listed even use theirs.

lol at the sudden change of heart.

            "Floyd could easily make 140",

all of a sudden, the stans are realizing that either, he can't make the weight, or doesn't want to when hes bringing up a SFW to welter.

it's irrelevant anyway because even tho mayweather might be a "small welterweight" marquez and pacquiao are small light welterweights.

                Whats with the catchweights?

There are divisions for a reason.

That is whats fair. Fighting under the rules, not bending them in your favor.

I think the worry (if any) is another one, what happens next? It took Mayweather years to barely fill up at 147... I think he has bicthing about the weight is in case pac loses, and the best option becomes a Cotto or Mosley. Having trained to fight lose to 140 would come back to haunt him in that case. I would not be surprised if the catchweight was determined after may 2nd.

Don't worry floyd fans,he is still bigger than Marquez, lower than 145 just means the fight is a tad bit more even!!Official weight is the only weight that counts, fighters are given a day to recover their weight after weight ins, thats the way it is!!147 is 147,if he is too small for it move on down,or just fight smaller guys at catch weights for the rest of ur career, but there are welterweights out there to fight if 147 is where u wanna be!!!!
