      There's a difference between 147 and 144 & 225 and 175.

I've never understood the concept of 'a small welter'. Is that a junior welter or do you think we need another weightclass?

Sorry but I just don't get it.

145 fair? To who? I doubt JMM would want the fight that high. I think he'd prefer 135.

He said he's willing to fight at 143.

              Can anybody answer this question?

Well JMM would say anything for a couple of million bucks and so would most fighters.

Perhaps I should rephrase my question: As a fightfan what weight do YOU think the fight should be made if it is to be fair?

A small welterweight would be maybe Pernell. Floyd isn't really. People say that just cuz he moved up. He's 5'8. Cotto is 5'7. Shane and Clottey are around there somewhere. Margarito's a big welter.

you are worry for nothing ....
people dont understand that just because a fight is set at the 147 pound limt doesnt mean you have to come in as 147 pounds.
                      147 is the limit.

so you could possibly see JMM come in at 141-142
and floyd come in at 146-147
