In a 45 odd fight career hatton probably fought 7 southpaws max, He alway have some kind of problem with them and has he step up a level they seem to do away with them, Credit for taking on a fast southpaw like pacman but i can only see him losing.

If you keep going further back there are more than that. Carew and Ramsay.Some boxrec doesnt have their stance so it could be more. Thats close to 20% of his fights being against southpaws, thats alot.

Of course manny would feel it, JMM hurt Manny alot in their 2nd fight but JMM is a very very good counterpuncher who sees opening.

hatton needs to turn it into a dogfight, but a smart dogfight like floyd sr would be telling him, move in with head movement and tight guard, use his strength and cutting off the ring to put manny on the ropes, and then unleash hell to the body and occasionally over the top to the head, keeping up close, shoving manny around and clinching so manny cant get leverage on his big left hands

manny needs to use footwork to stay away from hatton as long as possible, and then needs to use his quick hands to catch hatton when he moves in, and when hatton does get up close (which he will) manny needs to throw a manic flurry of short shots before hatton can load up to the body
