i believe ricky has better chance fyting in his own style. his grappling can frustrate manny who is a real sportsman in and out the ring. manny can tire easily when ricky clinches like an octopus.

it will be hard for ricky to be more technical once manny's multi-combos land smack in his face. and he better be careful in closing the gap he's vulnerable to amnny's left and ryt hook/cross. manny's ryt is now as devastating as his left. manny can beat ricky to the punch when ricky tries to sneak a left hook to the body.

ricky is in for the biggest surprise of his life....and the fans as well.

Don't take much notice of what trainers and boxer say before a fight - most of it is said for psychological reasons. Most of it is bull****.

Ricky Hatton left Billy Graham because Billy was becoming slow and wouldn't admit it. Ricky said that was the worst part that he wouldn't admit it. He seems to be happy with Floyd Sr.

I honestly have no idea what will happen in the Pacquiao fight. It will probably seem obvious after it happens! I just remember stuff like when Shane Mosley was god and then he got beat up (twice?) by Vernon Forest. Nothings for certain. The smart money's on Pacquiao but wasn't it on De La Hoya before their fight?

Pac might be able to throw the right-hook when Ricky comes in.
Tszyu at that time was slower and wasn't throwing a lot of punches...especially in combinations at that point in his career; plus the stamina issues from age and inactivity.

If Hatton comes in with one shot and tries to clinch, Pac will throw rapid fire punches and back out before Hatton can clinch. This is what they are working on in his camp. Tszyu hadn't moved with agility in years.

Hatton needs to come in with the jab and throw combos. When close, if he wants, bully Pac around if he can get a hold of him, but then punch-out in combinations. He needs to land body-shots, especially the left-hook to the body which should be right there if they are in close given Pac's a south-paw.
you're massively underestimating Hatton's ability to cut the ring off, no one brings it to an opponent like Hatton, he's quick on his feet and in your face keeping the intensity of the fight high. Mayweather struggled to cope with it and was lucky Cortez was there to pull him off.
