uh, both Dawson and De La Hoya dumped him after a pretty short amount of time, and DLH looked worse than usual after training with Sr.

oh, but what about Guzman? oh right...Sr was in his corner for about 1 fight, and then let him screw up and not make weight against Campbell(which killed his career) and then Guzman dumped him too.

If Hatton thinks hes going to try and fight more technical, hes going to get his butt kicked. at least his mauling style would have done damage against Pacquiao, since Pacquiao isnt really that great in clinches.
Not so sure about that. It was only very effective against Tszyu. Ricky also took shots from the left-hook coming in against Tszyu which seemed to stun him which showed every time he clinched for longer periods of time without throwing back. Pac might be able to throw the right-hook when Ricky comes in.
Tszyu at that time was slower and wasn't throwing a lot of punches...especially in combinations at that point in his career; plus the stamina issues from age and inactivity.

If Hatton comes in with one shot and tries to clinch, Pac will throw rapid fire punches and back out before Hatton can clinch. This is what they are working on in his camp. Tszyu hadn't moved with agility in years.

Hatton needs to come in with the jab and throw combos. When close, if he wants, bully Pac around if he can get a hold of him, but then punch-out in combinations. He needs to land body-shots, especially the left-hook to the body which should be right there if they are in close given Pac's a south-paw.

So Floyd should have thought of the possibility of them screwing Oscar up?

Probably...but maybe that is just the respect Floyd has for those trainers as well as Oscar.

Freddie thought of the possibility and said once he saw what they did to Oscar and it showed at the weigh-in...as well as moments before the fight with the I.V. he knew the fight was over and told Manny to jump on him.

            Best fight Dawson had?

            Worse fight Dawson had?

A poster said Dawson and Sr. split because Dawson was bringing his family to training camp and Sr. did not approve. He thought it was distracting and taking away from Dawson's training. Sr. is strict; we see this with Hatton. Oscar also seems to have a lot of respect for Floyd but the money issue was said to be the cause of the split.

Best fight was his most recent, against Tarver.
Worst fight might have been against Glen Johnson

Shot Tarver is a good Win?

Adamek was by far his best win. He looked much better in that fight as well. Look at the two opponents and look at where they were in their careers....

It would be interesting to see what others think.

Not sure when Sr. joined Oscar, but I think he was with him as far back as the Gatti fight.

Yes, Mr. Floyd Sr. Hatton is a professional boxer and is capable of defeating another boxer being alone in the ring...
