hell no it wasnt a fluke....i think taylor should have won the fight.....but froch did what he had to do to win.....and showed heart and determenation....sometimes that conquer anything.

I do believe its only fair to give the man a re-match

        Agreed.

Taylor's piss poor stamina once again reared it's ugly head.

And the moment Taylor started slowing down, Carl started to turn it up.

He busted his ass to get the KO and deserves credit for forcing it.

It is not like Froch landed one flukey, sweet money shot. Before the final round you can see Froch grinning at Taylor basically saying "It's on now". He then landed several big shots in succession and had Taylor on wobbly legs. After continued pressure he landed a great shot which put Taylor down. Once Taylor beat the count, Froch continued with his assault and forced the stoppage. Nothing flukey about that.

Fluke = Holt vs Torres - A totally unexpected headbutt which KO'd Torres.

Not a fluke = Froch vs Taylor - Totally expected late round pressure, on a tired opponent.

I don't see how anyone could consider it a 'fluke'. There may have been reasons for it, obviously Taylor's stamina issue here, but then in some way or another there always are. And has been said it wasn't a lucky punch, Froch
wore him down and took him out.

It's as meaningless saying Taylor would have won if he hadn't gassed as saying he would have won if he hadn't been KO'd. It's a weakness in his game; up to him to sort it if he can.

People will watch Rocky.. and say it was inspiring... And cry and stuff.. But When they see a REAL LIFE Rocky type story.. they are critical.. and call the man a bum.. Instead of a Champ.. like he is.. He has beaten 2 Top ranked Super Middleweights and both Fights were exciting and dramatic..

What gives?? please don't tell me it's because he is British..

That can't possibly be it as the same type of talk was expressed after the first Pavlik-Taylor fight. People wrote it off as luck and many picked Taylor to win the rematch. Even till this day you will find posts still discrediting Kelly and his wins.
