Uhhh... are you seriously comparing Froch to Dawson? Don't be the tool that makes everything a race/cultural/country rivalry issue. Dawson and Williams are both in a much different level of skill than Froch. They have also both proven themselves a bit more. Williams is still just now using his reach the correct way, finally fighting tall. Dawson is finally fighting good punchers without getting rocked. Froch finally had his first good matchup and he's improving too. But Froch is much more of a hype job than the other 2. Those guys are earning their shots, Froch is calling out Calzaghe because he wants to cash out early. He's dreaming if he thinks he can win more than a single round in that fight. I don't rate Dawson and Williams MUCH higher than Froch cause I'm american, I'd say Calzaghe might be able to beat them both (moreso Williams than Dawson, might be too young and too fast). Even if Calzaghe couldn't beat Dawson, and he chose to take on a few other fights, I'd still p4p rank him higher than Dawson, just as I rank Hops higher than Dawson and I believe Dawson might win that one as well. Froch is slow as hell, he keeps his hands wayyyy too low for his speed, and comes in a little too wreckless. He's a great puncher, great chin, great heart, great stamina, but he's very very far from being polished. All props to him for beating Taylor in an exciting fashion, but he better keep certain names out his mouth for his own sake (like Hopkins and Calzaghe to name a couple).

Froch has ZERO hype, we all know the next decent fighter he goes against will muller him. He beat America's best super middleweight, thats a good achievement. an over-achievement imo.

America doesn't really have great super middleweights. I thought Taylor would win, because he's too fast for Froch and very strong, and I know Froch would come in too wide and would be there for right hands all day, but I was a bit worries about Taylor's conditioning (made a thread about him looking soft even). Taylor is a constant disappointment, but regardless of his whack stamina, both fighters were impressive that night. I will be sure not to miss any future Froch fights, and am very interested in his future at 168. He might beat a couple decent names, Allan Green for one. The guy doesn't come to fight 12 rounds, and you need to in order to beat a pressure fighter with the stamina and chin of Froch. After that, Andrade might be a good choice. Personally I think Andrade might take that decision due to his work rate and good chin, but it's hard to say for sure, especially giving Froch a few fights to improve. Kessler is a bit of a wildcard due to his lack of heat after the Calzaghe fight, but it's dangerous to say the least. Bute is the wrong man for Froch no doubt, he's too skilled. Still, Froch is getting some hype now for the Taylor KO. I've been noticing it since Saturday.

This is a mismatch from the get go, Dawson would beat the **** out of him.
