Never Thought I'd say this but UFC 2009 UNdisputed looks better than FNR4!

What do you mean by only a handful of real boxers? There are around 45-50 real fighters. Plus, it does have "game face" meaning it's pretty easy to create the fighters not on the official roster by uploading photo's of the fighter, I'm pretty excited about that feature.Plus ALL/MOST of the notable UFC fighters are in and playable. Fight Night Round 4 only have a handful of real boxers in the game (a problem hampering boxing video game forever)
I don't know if I'm alone here but to me the KO's weren't that impressive. They are a bit scripted, you notice this after you play it for a while.Comment

It's alright, but I won't be buying it.
Most of the fights end too quickly, which is a gripe I have with real life MMA. The fight is over before I can really get invested in it.
That's why I love playing Fight Night, despite the hundred or so complaints I have with it.
The best part of a Fight Night game comes toward the tail end of your career mode, when your fighter is past prime, and you're not scoring the KO in the first 5 rounds anymore.
Your stats are ****, and you really have to adapt your style and become a master of the decision ; and sometimes that **** doesn't always go your way.
Here's a great example.
On Round 3, I had a Mosley CAB. I was 56-0-0 with 52 KO's. Way past my prime, but I just wanted to keep going.
In what turned out to be my last, great performance, I completely dominated this 41-0 #1 contender over the course of 11 rounds, dropping him once in the 5th, and once in the 9th.
In the 12th round, with 30 seconds left on the clock, and well ahead on the scorecards, I got cornered, and knocked out.
I was so pissed off, it was like Chavez/Taylor all over again.

look like ass. You need help.Yep! I'm a huge Fight Night fan (still play Round 3 online) and have been eagerly waiting for FNR4....
But I must say after watching nearly every video of game play I am disappointed so far. For one the fighters do not look authentic, every fighter looks bloated (especially in the lower body/stomach area) and hugely muscular. Manny pac and Ricky Hatton look like Middleweights
Anyway I download Undisputed today on the Ps3 and I am amazed at how great the game is (based on the demo of course). The graphics and commentary is amazing. and it plays exactly like MMA. Its incredibly fun!
Not to forget that the knockouts are THE BEST I've seen in a combat video game!
Plus ALL/MOST of the notable UFC fighters are in and playable. Fight Night Round 4 only have a handful of real boxers in the game (a problem hampering boxing video game forever)
I will still buy FNR 4 anyway, but for now looks like I will be playing UFC Undisputed alot more!Comment

After going to the official website for the game and watching the videos the game play just looks too slow for my liking. I love MMA because of the pace the fights take place at. When they perfect an gaming engine that allows you to play MMA realistically at high speed I will invest. Until then, nope.Comment
