Never Thought I'd say this but UFC 2009 UNdisputed looks better than FNR4!

Yep! I'm a huge Fight Night fan (still play Round 3 online) and have been eagerly waiting for FNR4....
But I must say after watching nearly every video of game play I am disappointed so far. For one the fighters do not look authentic, every fighter looks bloated (especially in the lower body/stomach area) and hugely muscular. Manny pac and Ricky Hatton look like Middleweights

Anyway I download Undisputed today on the Ps3 and I am amazed at how great the game is (based on the demo of course). The graphics and commentary is amazing. and it plays exactly like MMA. Its incredibly fun!
Not to forget that the knockouts are THE BEST I've seen in a combat video game!

Plus ALL/MOST of the notable UFC fighters are in and playable. Fight Night Round 4 only have a handful of real boxers in the game (a problem hampering boxing video game forever)

I will still buy FNR 4 anyway, but for now looks like I will be playing UFC Undisputed alot more!

I choose Liddell most of the time, and win every time I choose him. The computer mixes up leg kicks and lands tons of punches on me, then I land that ridiculous looking overhand right and the fight is over. It's an ok game, not as good as Fight Night Round 3 in my opinion.

After playing the UFC game for a good 5-7 hours over the last few days, it's not that great. It kinda reminds me of fight night round 1 or 2, it's pretty robotic and it had a lot of the problems we saw in early fight night games, like phantom punches, or knock out blows when you barely hit the guy. After you knock out guys like 50+ times, you'll notice they are pretty scripted. There are limitations too, no head movement or upper body movement when in the striking position, blocking is pretty basic (block up or block down, again **** we saw in the early Fight Night games), and there are some glitches I've encountered too although it's a demo so those can be corrected possibly.

The graphics of the fighters look great though. They got the torso's and faces down, something that fight night 4 from what I've seen have struggled with.

But, I'll take better gameplay and game physics over graphics any day of the week. So I'm hoping fight night 4 comes through in these areas

Another factor is simply my personal prefence in playing boxing games. You play the UFC game, you'll be lucky to make it to round 3. Most games I've played ended in the first round. If you're really tactical, round 2. So if you have ADD, and ten seconds to 3 minutes is all the time you got, you'll love this game.
