I dont recall anyone on here saying he is the greatest fighter ever. Thats Floyd marketing himself. Why dont you hold everyone else to those same standards, I really believe most of the haters here are new boxing fans, because if you wasnt you wouldnt degrade or look lightly on what Floyd did before he got to welterweight. Why dont you say Miguel should go up to 168, his fifth weight class and beat the best.

Three part response:

1. There are a good amount of Floyd Stans on here who claim he's the greatest ever. Please.

2. Point out to me where in my post did I degrade or look lightly on what Floyd did before WW?

3. I don't hold Cotto, Pac, DLH, Hopkins etc. etc. up to these standards because they aren't running around saying they're the greatest of all time. And neither are their stans. Floyd and his stans are.

I will cheer for Marquez, though i think he has lower chances - the weight difference will be HUGE...

I'm keeping my hype and anticipation to a minimum. If it does happen, it will be an incredible fight. Can't really say who I'd think will win. Marquez does have a good shot at pulling off the upset. I don't underestimate that guy at all.

Try reading mine. I said Floyd says those things for promotion. Show me those who truly feel he is the greatest of all time, I havent seen them. Who do you consider the greatest of all time, or give me your top five, did they go through 5 weight classes picking up titles in each? If not why do you consider them the greatest of all time.

Its good to see that they agreed on a weight below 145. This does make the fight slightly more fair in Marquez's favor.

I still don't give Marquez much of a chance though. He doesn't belong at 140 or above imo.

It will be good to see Mayweather back in the ring though.
