Thats the thing, the inactivity/age at this point would play a part in the weight process, At 32 and off for 18 months he wouldnt be able to get the weigh off without draining his body.

Yeah. I'm no kid. I SAW the Shane run at 135. It is most notable for the absence of top fighters.

Agreed. Also, to be fair, Floyd Mayweather Senior has recently been quoted as saying if he had it his way he would fight Pacquiao if he defeats Hatton then Shane Mosley. As much as I don't want to see Hatton lose(and I don't believe he will, I'm calling for a KO6 victory via body shot for Hatton), if FMJ does fight Pacquiao then Shane Mosley then I would give him immense credit for it.

They said originally it would be on free to air to get a large audience and build interest for his follow-up fights - which would have been much better for boxing. It would probably have paid off commercially in the long term if they'd done that, in terms of PPV sales for future fights. Shame.

Yeah and if Hatton wins then here we go with Hatton / PBF 2, with Senior as Hattons trainer.

                Hope not.

                  Chups,

Were you saying the opposite when Floyd was fighting a zillion bigger guys?

True, it didn't have the whole marquee name recognition at the time, but I always try to judge the fighter's accomplishments by the era they compete in, not by the lack of talent/marquee names. It's kind of like saying the Klitschkos aren't great fighters because this era of heavyweights is terrible, but that's another subject entirely.......
