The odds of Floyd winning should go down if it is not at 147. Floyd is going to have to lose weight now. Add in age, inacitivity, what he was both mentally and physically going into retirement...and the history of fighters coming out of retirement....and moving down in weight......not a good sign.
Thats the thing, the inactivity/age at this point would play a part in the weight process, At 32 and off for 18 months he wouldnt be able to get the weigh off without draining his body.Comment

The man completely demolished everyone he fought at 135, and most by extremely violent KO.He beat Jesse James Leija by KO, John John Molina by KO, and Wilfredo Ruiz by KO, all for 135 title fights. This is not including the typical "Who are they?" 135 fighters who also were KOed by Mosley. See for yourself on boxrec.com.Comment

Agreed. Also, to be fair, Floyd Mayweather Senior has recently been quoted as saying if he had it his way he would fight Pacquiao if he defeats Hatton then Shane Mosley. As much as I don't want to see Hatton lose(and I don't believe he will, I'm calling for a KO6 victory via body shot for Hatton), if FMJ does fight Pacquiao then Shane Mosley then I would give him immense credit for it.Comment

True, it didn't have the whole marquee name recognition at the time, but I always try to judge the fighter's accomplishments by the era they compete in, not by the lack of talent/marquee names. It's kind of like saying the Klitschkos aren't great fighters because this era of heavyweights is terrible, but that's another subject entirely.......Comment
