Should Taylor have taken a knee?

Taking a knee in boxing to avoid big shots, is akin to a footballer diving to win a penalty. It's cheating and shouldn't be encouraged. The only time a boxer should go down, is if he is sent down by a punch.
Well doen to Taylor though. He is a warrior, and showed some spirit getting up after the first knockdown. He was already gone at that point, and had nothing left, but he still fought until the end.Comment

Either Taylor really doesn't like clinching or he's so out of it thar he clinches like he does.Comment

Boxing is not a street fight, it's a sport with set rules. Taylor should have used those rules to his advantage. I would have taken a knee then got on my bike for the rest of the match. He would have deserved to win the match, the work he did in the previous rounds makes it fair.Comment

If Taylor would have taken a knee then he would be like Cotto. Thats quitting. If you take a body shot and take a knee, its a different story. Head shots shouldn't make you take a knee.Comment

**** the knockdown. He should have really taken a knee after Froch landed the right hand that shook him to his boots. That way he would have had time to recover, and would not have went downa second time. I'm happy Froch put him to sleep though.Comment
