    he had deep bruises on his knuckles. Remember he immediately went back to Ghana after the fight, said he supposedly went to a doctor out there for his broken hands, then came back and said he had bruising on them but they weren't broken (as repeatedly on the Showtime broadcast of him and Chico)

    Tony did indeed hurt his hand early in camp, rolled his ankle two weeks before the fight (an old injury he has had since the Lujan fight) and never said a peep

    people like to explain the dropoff in Clottey on the broken hands but there is precedent to show that Clottey indeed drops off his workrate when fighting pressure fighters. Gutierrez, Flores etc

    now I do think his hands did hurt but so were Tony's and he managed to set punch stat records

    to me it was more fortitude than injury. Tony ****** it up, Clottey didn't
