Well I'm not sure where Floyd is at this point like I said. But, when Floyd was at 140, I can't see Pac beating him. 140 was the last time I saw Floyd at his absolute best. If anything, Pac should fight Floyd now because in my opinion, Floyd wasn't fighting at his absolute best anymore when he left, and now, who knows. I would take the fight if I were Pac; the odds are more in your favor now.

Cotto vs. Floyd: I would have taken Floyd before he left. Floyd would have decided to pot-shot him all night. Crappy way to win, but that's the way Floyd might have fought him. I think the fight would be more competitive now given Floyd's age and inactivity. It's hard to say his legs are as good as they were. It's also what makes it interesting and why I want to see it. It would make Floyd prove he is one of those "Great" fighters that can fight past his best. Sure, he deals with injuries all the time, but as far as fighting with a decline in leg ability is something as well.
If Floyd just tries to stand his ground more, Cotto may be able to land enough shots to the body to wear Floyd down.


The one thing I don't trust about a fighter in Floyd's position is the Mental side to it. Given what Floyd has said while going into retirement, and where he was physically going into retirement, and basing it on the last two fights the way he fought....you wonder if he is prepared for a War at this point in time?
Sometimes, fighters at that stage tend to quit if pushed to fight in a hard battle. Will Floyd be the same?
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe he is still young enough (despite being past 30), to have a strong Will/Heart for the Fight.
