Yea you can't just take one solid punch and make it like Floyd overall had trouble with Chop Chop, but I do agree that Floyd IS NOT invincible and I think overall that's what the argument is.

We still don't know how well he could take a solid punch from a solid WW do we? I think we're going to find out soon though.

Great post by the way: It shows what heart Floyd has or at least had at one time and how he can fight when hurt. You don't have to be knocked down to come through adversity. It's amazing how he reacted when hurt...not many like him; Calm and Collective


It does bring up the question of where he is now though. That was his ability back then and I've always questioned if he was still at his best after the move at 147, specifically towards the end, which I don't think he was exactly. And now, given all that has taken place, can he recapture his ability both Mentally and Physically? That's something we'll have to wait and see.


For the Pacman bit: Pac isn't a hard puncher. He throws punches in volume to take you out and he couldn't even finish off JMM. In fact, JMM came back in that fight which was embarrassing. Knocking out little MAB and a deflated Morales doesn't count for power...and even then, it wasn't from one big shot early. Pac has power, but it isn't as devastating as some make it out to be; even Diaz said it was speed that killed him.

I don't think he saw the Corley shot coming and that's the shot that can hurt you. I'm guessing he saw the Oscar punch or at least a little more...not sure.
